The Middle Grades boxes are tailored for students in grades 4-8 and provide a well-rounded assortment of comic books and graphic novels. Sample boxes may include comics focused on humor, action/adventure, science fiction or real-life events – but no matter the subject matter, the content will be appropriate for this age range.

Each month we send out a box that includes a graphic novel and several traditional comic books along with reading notes for guardians to discuss the books with their children, or provide additional context for the student to get the most out of that month’s comics.

Graphic Novels may include titles like New Kid by Jerry Craft, Drama by Raina Telgemeier or Mammal Takeover, a science comic by Abby Howard. Comics may include titles like Scooby Doo, The Last Witch or reprints of classic titles like Avengers.
